Accessibility

Everyone should be able to get in the room.

This website

We build toward WCAG 2.1 AA: semantic structure, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus states, descriptive alternative text on every photograph, and text contrast that holds up in daylight. If something here does not work with your assistive technology, tell us and we will fix it.

The building

We are documenting the accessibility features of 270 14th Street — entrances, level changes, restrooms, the mezzanine, and routes through the main floor — and we will publish verified details here rather than reassurances. Until then, please raise any access requirements in your inquiry. We will answer honestly and specifically, and tell you plainly if something is not yet workable.

At our gatherings

Tell us in advance about seating, hearing, dietary, sensory or mobility needs and we will plan around them. It is never an imposition.
